Building Homes

Completed Homes

In 2025, Habitat NRV celebrated the completion of two affordable townhomes in Pearisburg. These homes provide local families with the chance to build stronger foundations through homeownership.

Homes Under Construction

In 2025, construction began on our 11-townhome development in Blacksburg. Construction is still underway and we are now searching for homeowners. These homes will be designed with accessibility and visitable features, ensuring they will serve families for generations.

Home Repairs

Through our Home Repair Program, we completed 23 projects that helped older adults and homeowners stay safely in their homes. From accessibility improvements to essential repairs, each project protects dignity, independence, and stability for our neighbors. 

Volunteers

Volunteers are the heart of Habitat NRV. Throughout the year, individuals, businesses, churches, and community organizations have donated their time and skills on our build

sites, repair projects, offices, and in the ReStore, making our mission possible.

Habitat NRV connected with hundreds of community members through outreach events across the New River Valley. These are just a few opportunities that allowed us to share our mission, recruit volunteers, and raise support for affordable housing.

Looking Ahead

Moving forward, Habitat NRV remains committed to expanding affordable, accessible, and stable homeownership in the community. This fiscal year we aim to complete the Airport Road Townhomes development, grow our Home Repair Program, and strengthen partnerships throughout the New River Valley.
